1. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall SeigePoint Logistics, its affiliates, officers, or employees be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Loss of data or information
- Damages arising from service delays or interruptions
2. Maximum Liability Cap
Our total liability for any claim arising from shipment services shall not exceed the original shipping charge paid, or $500 USD, whichever is less. For insured shipments, liability is limited to declared insured value (maximum $5,000 USD).
3. Excluded Items
SeigePoint Logistics is not liable for loss or damage of:
- Currency, precious metals, or jewels
- Documents of extreme value (unless specially insured)
- Perishable goods (unless refrigerated service selected)
- Prohibited or illegal items
- Items without adequate insurance coverage
4. Acts Beyond Our Control
SeigePoint Logistics is not liable for losses caused by:
- Force majeure (natural disasters, war, etc.)
- Governmental actions or embargoes
- Third-party theft or vandalism beyond our facilities
- Shipper negligence or misrepresentation
5. Insurance Options
We offer optional insurance coverage for shipments:
- Basic Coverage: Included (up to $100)
- Standard Coverage: $0.50/100 declared value
- Full Value Coverage: $1.00/100 declared value (max $5,000)
6. Claim Requirements
To file a damage or loss claim:
- Report within 72 hours of delivery
- Provide photographic evidence
- Retain packaging if possible
- Complete claim form with full details
7. No Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of this disclaimer does not constitute waiver of that provision or any other.
8. Jurisdiction
This disclaimer is governed by applicable local and federal law. By using our services, you agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration or court proceedings as permitted by law.
